If soiling cannot be removed, replace the part.

Remove the ionization unit.

Remove the ground plate and the focus unit ASSY or the DUIS focus unit ASSY.

The inside of the ionization unit reaches a high temperature. Wait until the
temperature decreases sufficiently before handling or servicing the area.
The inside of the ionization unit and the area around the DL and heat block
reach high temperatures. Do not access the areas before the temperature
decreases sufficiently. Failure to observe this instruction may result in burn
injury.
