Outline

IonFocus Unit, an ionization unit for NX series, is a heat-assisted ESI unit with ion
transport electrodes installed to it.
The ion transport electrodes enable efficiently introducing only ions into the mass
spectrometer, achieving high sensitivity and high durability simultaneously.

Features

High sensitivity
The improved heat-assisted ESI probe is installed. It allows heating to accelerate ionization
more efficiently, enabling high-sensitive analysis of various samples.
High durability and stability
The newly installed ion transport electrodes enable efficiently introducing only ions into
the mass spectrometer. Removal of unnecessary solvent decreases impact of
contamination, enabling stable analysis.
Pursuit of easy-to-use design
This product follows the design of our conventional ionization unit models that provides
easy replacement, installation, removal, and maintenance.
