Limitations; References - Nortel 5100 Release Note

In the MAS, conferencing announcements are made in the system
language. The announcements for conference members (chairperson or
participants) join or leave a meeting are affected.
The default system configuration provides user interfaces and prompts in
English.

Limitations

Some parts of the Clients cannot be displayed in the chosen language.
These include third-party software (such as the video codec) in the
Multimedia PC Client, certain buttons in the Personal Agent, and some
special user name strings for particular services (for example, Conference).
When the IP Phone powers up, the start-up text is only available in English.
The IP Phone 2007, IP Phone 1120E and IP Phone 1140E do not support
any language changes. All text is in English only.
The IP Phone 1535 Phase 2 does not support Chinese or Japanese
characters.
The display format of dates, times and telephone numbers cannot be
changed except as described above for IP Phone 1535 Phase 2.
Text input is from left to right, and cannot be changed to accept right-to-left
input.
