Accounting

Accounting records can be formatted in the original Internet Protocol Detail
Record (IPDR) 2.0 format as well as in the newer IPDR v3.5 format. The
format being used is configurable.

Security

Network elements communicate with each other over Transmission
Communication Protocol (TCP) communication channels secured by Secure
Sockets Layer (SSL). The elements negotiate the strongest encryption
configured and available for the communication.
