All Web applications support the use of Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP).
This feature adds the support for HTTP over Transport Layer Security (TLS),
also known as HTTPS. TLS provides integrity protection, authentication
and confidentiality to Web communications using public key infrastructure
(PKI). Both the server and the client authenticate each other using X.509
certificates.
Web server
The MCS Web server, part of the Provisioning Manager, has the HTTP
and HTTPS ports enabled by default. The following table shows the port
mappings.
