The following BATCH flexible applications are grouped together in the
applications list and can be started and terminated via this list:
BATCH flexible Object Manager
Recipe Editor
Batch Control
Batch Planning
In addition, the following background applications without a user interface
are also managed:
Batch Data Preparation
Control Recipe Generator
BATCH Broker (with multi-user systems)
Overview of all installed applications in all participating computers showing:
Version identifier
Computer designation
Status
User name
Starting date with time of day
All applications can be started or terminated via the applications list. You
cannot end an application unless you have the corresponding user privileges
(see Chapter 3.3.5).
The background applications are however also directly influenced by other
BATCH flexible applications. This is explained in the descriptions of these
applications.
The following ways of starting applications are available to you when you
select the applications list:
1. By double-clicking on an application.
2. By a single click on the Recipe editor, Batch planning or Batch control
icon on the tool bar.
3. By selecting an application from the applications list and then starting it
either with the function 'Open object' in the 'Edit' menu, or via the
'Context' menu (by clicking with the righthand mouse button) with the
function 'Start application' or by pressing the return key.
4. You can also start the applications Recipe editor, Batch planning or Batch
control via 'Start' in the 'Batch flexible' menu.
