When the applications BOM, Batch Control and Batch Planning are started, a
list is displayed which can be used to execute the corresponding functions.
These are explained in the description of the applications.
The globally relevant list functions such as sorting, filtering, optimizing
columns, or displaying, collapsing or updating lists, are described below.
When the list is output the first line is automatically selected. A single click
on any line will select it. After a list has been updated, no lines will be
marked.
If you double-click on the righthand vertical column border the column
displayed to the left of it will be optimized. In other words, it will be
narrowed to the width required for displaying on a single line the longest text
occuring in the entire column.
This is possible with the applications Batch Control and Batch Planning and
relates to the columns for production orders and recipes. You can activate
column display or collapse them via the 'View' menu.
You can sort the lists alphanumerically or chronologically by clicking on the
column header (recipe, batch, user, etc.). Click again to reverse the sorting
order.
You can filter the entries in these lists by making various inputs (see Table
1-1, Page 1-24).
You can update the lists via the corresponding icon on the tool bar or via the
'View' menu and 'Update' or by pressing the function key F5.
The filter windows include default settings, shown by an asterisk (*). This
indicates that the information will be output in its entirety – in other words,
no filter criterion has been applied.
If you input a filter criterion (for example, ABC or A*) and quit the filter
window or press the enter key, the list will be updated immediately with the
filtered entries.
