AF interface block
(AF-SSB)

For a description of the block please refer to Appendix A. For every
automation function as defined by BATCH flexible you will need to
instantiate an AF-interface block.
The apparatus name is specified as value for the UNITNAME connection.
This must correspond to the value of the UNITNAME connection of the
UNIT-block. This establishes that the AF-SSB is associated with the
apparatus.
Note
The CFC-editor does not check to see whether a UNIT-SSB with the
specified apparatus name actually exists.
The instance name of the AF-SSB (header parametrization) is mapped to
the AF-instance name in BATCH flexible.
Note
The instance name of an AF-SSB must be unique within an apparatus. The
CFC-editor only checks within a CFC-drawing to see whether this name is
unique.
The AF-type designation (for example, dosing) as defined by BATCH
flexible must be specified as value for the AF_NAME block connection.
You must make absolutely sure that the number and assignments of the
connections are identical for all AF-SSBs with the same
AF-type-designation.
The value for the BA_EN ('Batch enable') connection must be set to the
value 1.
The setpoint values can when necessary be specified as values for the
connections URP_1 to URP_6 or URP_12 or URP_24. These values are
taken over in BATCH flexible as defaults and presented when recipes are
created.
The higher and lower limits must be specified as values for the
connections RP_1_H, RP_1_L to RP_6_H, RP_6_L or RP_12_H,
RP_12_L or RP_24_H, RP_24_L for each setpoint. The AF-SSB must be
interconnected with the corresponding processing blocks as specified.
Here, the system attribute S7_LINK must be set to TRUE for these
connections.
Note
Setpoint values and limit values will only be exported if ...
– the output connections VRP_1 to VRP_6 or VRP_12 or VRP_24 are
interconnected or
– access is made to the connections by an SFC program!
