You can start batch planning from the user interface of BATCH flexible
Object Manager (BOM) by clicking on the 'Batch planning' icon on the tool
bar (for other ways of starting batch planning, see Page 3-9).
You can open batch planning independently of BOM and directly from the
Windows interface by double-clicking on the batch planning icon.
Batch planning includes the batch planning list (see Chapter 6.3.1), the list
of production orders pending (see Chapter 6.4.1) and the equipment
oocupancy list (see Chapter 6.5). When batch editing starts the batch
planning list will be displayed.
When batch planning starts you will see the following menu bar and tool bar:
Here you can quit batch planning.
Here you can execute object-specific functions for objects selected from a list
(for example, Copy, Delete, Open object...).
With this menu you can insert a batch (see Page 3-24), in other words, create
a batch.
