1.
If a status LED is orange, the power supply is in high temperature and has transitioned to
over-temperature protection state. Be sure that adequate cooling and heat ventilation is
provided for the device.
2.
If a status LED is red, the power supply has transitioned to a self-protection state because of a
power issue. Check for and resolve the output short-circuit, output overcurrent, output
overvoltage, input undervoltage, or remote disconnection issue.
3.
Examine the power cord connection. If the power cord is loose, connect the power cord again. If
the power cord is broken, replace it.
4.
Examine the power supply installation. If the power supply is installed securely, reinstall the
power supply to make sure it has a close contact with the backplane of the router.
5.
Examine the power source. Make sure the power source operates correctly and provides a
voltage as required by the router.
6.
If the router has an empty power supply slot, remove the power supply, install the power supply
in the empty power supply slot after all LEDs on the power supply are off, and verify that the
power supply can operate correctly.
7.
Install a new power supply of the same model in the slot where the original power supply
resides, and connect it to the same power input end. If the new power supply operates correctly,
the old power supply has failed. You must replace the old power supply.
