Verifying the installation
About installation verification
WARNING!
To avoid component damage or bodily injury, make sure all power sources are in OFF state before
you check the installation.
Installation verification is extremely important, because correct operation of the router highly
depends on its stability, well grounding, proper power supply and correct implementation of the
overall installation procedure. Check the installation from installation site, device installation, cabling,
and electrical safety and record the check results. If any item fails the check, troubleshoot the issue,
re-install the router, and check the installation again until all items pass the check.

No obstacles exist inside or around the chassis.
No packing boxes, packing bags, or other packing materials left in the installation site.

The surfaces of the device are clean. All labels are correct, clear, and complete.
No condensation on the surface or inside the router.
The router is installed securely in the rack.
Fan trays, power supplies, cards, and interface modules are installed securely to the chassis.
All screws on fan trays, power supplies, cards, and interface modules are fastened securely.
Every empty slot has a filler panel installed.
