1. Locate and carefully unpack the riser card. Hold the riser card by its edges. To NOT touch the gold
edge connector pins.
2. Align the riser card to the threaded standoffs on the mounting bracket.
3. Using the supplied screws, secure the riser card to the bracket. Tighten to 5 in-lb.

PCIe* Add-in Card Installation
Add-in cards installed to riser card #1 or the PCIe* interposer riser card must be oriented with their
component side up. See

An add-in card installed to riser card #2 must be oriented with its component side down as shown in
35.
