MULTI-UNIT COMM FAULT

ISSUE
Secondary heat pump is not receiving a signal from the primary heat pump.
RESOLUTION
1. Confirm the primary heat pump is operating correctly. If, for example, no power is supplied to the primary
heat pump, an error will appear on the secondary heat pumps.
2. Confirm the heat pump is properly connected and configured to a primary unit.

NO INTERNAL EXPANSION
ISSUE
No internal expansion board / module was installed or detected.
RESOLUTION
A qualified technician should review existing site equipment. If a relay or actuator has been configured,
l
but is not a part of the site equipment, it will need to have it's configuration removed. See "Deleting
Equipment" on page 45.
Confirm the model number in the system matches the heat pump's data plate. See "Viewing System
l
Information" on page 78. If the model number is incorrect, contact AquaCal Customer Support for
assistance.
A qualified technician should confirm that an expansion module is properly installed in the unit.

NO POOL/SPA GROUP EXISTS
ISSUE
When pushing the POOL/SPA button, the heat pump displays the message "NO POOL/SPA GROUP
EXISTS".
RESOLUTION
A POOL or SPA group is only created if a preset has been used. For simple systems with only one body of
l
water, a preset is not required. (See " Site Configuration Presets (Optional) " on page 35 for more
information.)

OTA SYSTEM LOCKOUT

ISSUE
A malfunction has occurred that could allow the water temperature to surpass a safe level. An
installed "Over Temperature Alarm" kit has disabled the system.
