= 00 = indicates file is closed
= 02 = active file table full
= 04 = file not closed
= 06 = file expired
= 08 = QIO error
= 10 = channel busy
= 12 = file not open for reading
= 14 = illegal file ID
= 16 = buffer overflow
= 18 = empty file is closed
