To install a Control Board (see
1. Attach an ESD grounding strap to your bare wrist, and connect the strap to an approved site ESD
grounding point.
2. Carefully align the bottom and then the top edges of the Control Board with the guides inside the
chassis.
3. Slide the Control Board into the chassis, carefully ensuring that it is correctly aligned.
4. Twist both ejector handles clockwise to seat the host subsystem until the ejectors latch into the
faceplate.
5. To verify that the Control Board is installed correctly and functioning normally:
a. Connect an Ethernet cable to the HOST/ETHERNET port on the Control Board. If the host
subsystem is operational, the ACT port LED is lit to indicate Ethernet activity. If you can run the
CLI from a management device attached to the Control Board, the Control Board is installed
correctly.
