6. Raise the arm and operate the bucket control to extend
the bucket cylinder rod completely.
7. Place the switch (1) in the locked position. The audible
alarm device will cease functioning. (Refer to page
3-51).
8. Maintain the pressure in the bucket cylinder to allow
the latching hook to close. Raise the attachment so
you can see the bucket pin.
9. Make sure you can see that the bucket pin is correctly
engaged in the latching hook.
NOTE: If it is not possible to make a visual check sitting
in the operator's seat, get down from the machine and
make sure that the tool is correctly connected with the
safety device engaged.
