NOTE:
• The media dependent interface (MDI) standard is typically used on the Ethernet port of network
adapters. The media dependent interface crossover (MDI-X) standard is typically used on hubs
or LAN switches.
• For a combo interface, you can use either the copper port or the fiber port. To switch between the
copper and fiber ports, use the combo enable { copper | fiber } command in interface view.
