Checking Collimator Lock Pressure

Procedure
The two collimator locks must give a distinct
click when engaging/disengaging.
If this is not the case, or if the locks are not
applying sufficient pressure to ensure that the
contact balls are firmly pressed together, the
tension of the locks must be adjusted.
1. Adjust lock tension by turning the two
adjustment screws on each lock. See the
photo on the right.
