Activated and Tested
• While the system was filling with water, checked the pressure differential between the
water filter gauges on the water filter system.
• Inspected the transducers and wiring connections on the bottom side of the processing
chamber.
• Verified ultrasonics cavitation and audibility.
• Inspected all adapter tubing and O-rings for tears, breaks or damage to connectors.
• Verified that the operator is performing daily checks for the replacement of all in-line
disc filters on all applicable endoscope flushing adapters.
• Connected standard channel and the specialty channel adapters to all of the flushing
ports.
• Activated the purge pump and verified the Water channel pressure input indicator
illuminated on the right side of the service screen while the purge pump is activated.
• Pinched each of the standard channel flushing adapters and verified the corresponding
port LED on the channel monitoring LED indicator box activated.
• Verified the Water channel pressure input indicator on the right side of the service
screen turns off when a channel monitoring LED is illuminated.
• Activated the high pressure channel monitoring override switch.
• Pinched each of the specialty channel flushing adapters and verified the corresponding
port LED on the channel monitoring LED indicator box activated and the Water
channel pressure input indicator stayed illuminated on the right side of the service
screen.
• Deactivated the high pressure channel monitoring override switch.
• Drained the processing chamber. Ensured there are no obstructions and lower the
processing chamber lid.
• Attached the alcohol adapter to a 60 cc syringe and filled with 70% isopropyl alcohol.
• Ensured that the processing chamber lid is closed and inserted the alcohol adapter into
the alcohol injection port.
• Activated the air switch and injected the alcohol and removed the alcohol adapter
immediately after all alcohol was injected.
• Confirmed alcohol and air flow through the flushing adapters.
• Deactivate the air switch after the airflow from the adapters was confirmed.
From the service screen, pressed (F4).
• The printer printed out a short test print that was legible.
• Activated the drain pump, opened the reservoir lid, and ensured fluid is not returning to
the reservoir through the HLD return solenoid and verified no fluid is flowing through the
drain hoses from the drain and residual solenoids.
• Activated the HLD feed pump and verified no fluid is leaking into the processing
chamber through the HLD feed solenoid.
