Biannual Preventative Maintenance

Pumps

The drain/HLD return pump and the HLD feed pump must be opened and inspected biannually. Refer to the
Drain/HLD Return Pump Impeller (P/N 11009) and Pump Shaft (P/N 11135) Replacement and the HLD Feed Pump
Impeller (P/N 11009) and Pump Shaft (P/N 11135) Replacement sections under Part Replacement Instructions for
replacement instructions.

Flow Probe

The flow probe needs to be removed and cleaned to remove buildup. The flow probe is located in line with the
processing chamber drain. Refer to the Flow Probe Replacement (P/N 12002) section under Part Replacement
Instructions.

Annual Preventative Maintenance

The following components need to be replaced at every annual preventative maintenance.
CAUTION: Only Custom Ultrasonics filters, adapters, accessories, and associated components have been
validated in the System 83 Plus™; therefore, when replacing these parts, use only OEM parts.

Processing Chamber Bulkheads

Refer to the Female Adapter Ports Replacement (P/N 18022) section under Part Replacement Instructions for
replacement instructions.

Air Pump Intake Filter

Refer to the Air Pump Intake Filter Replacement (P/N 20010) section under Part Replacement Instructions for
replacement instructions.

Five Year Preventative Maintenance

Ultrasonic Generator

Five years from date of installation, replace the ultrasonic generator board and the ultrasonic feedback signal board,
refer to the Ultrasonic Generator (P/N 12008) and Signal Circuit Board (P/N 12073) Replacement section under Part
Replacement Instructions for replacement instructions.
