Residual Drain Solenoid Rebuild Kit Replacement (P/N 623-606R)

WARNING:
The System 83 Plus™ should be powered off when inspecting or replacing components to prevent
electrical shock and damage to the device.
CAUTION: Have all liquid fully drained from the System 83 Plus™ prior to conducting any maintenance to avoid
residual liquid in plumbing spilling out.
1. Loosen the screw on the grounded stem clamp enough so that the grounded stem clamp can be removed.
2. Slide the coil off of the valve stem, exposing the stem and the valve body.
3. Remove the (4) screws and (4) locks washers.
4. Separate the valve body.
5. Remove and replace the diaphragm with the new diaphragm from the rebuild kit in the exact same orientation
with the new spring inserted into the diaphragm stem with the tightly wound end facing up.
6. Remove the O-Ring and screen seated inside the body of the valve.
7. Place the new screen and then the O-Ring from the rebuild kit inside the body of the valve.
8. Reassemble the valve.

Water Inlet Solenoid Rebuild Kit Replacement (P/N 06-1019R)

WARNING: The System 83 Plus™ should be powered off when inspecting or replacing components to prevent
electrical shock and damage to the device.
CAUTION:
Water feeding System 83 Plus™ must be shut off prior to replacing the ½" water inlet rebuild.
1. Unscrew the nut on the fastener, and remove the retainer ring.
2. Remove the washer, unit solenoid, and spring washer off the plunger tube assembly.
3. Use spanner wrench to unscrew the plunger tube assembly.
4. Remove the plunger spring, plunger assembly, latch spring, body gasket, diaphragm guide, diaphragm
assembly, diaphragm support, and strainer from the body.
5. Reassemble in reverse order of disassembly.
