Detergent Solenoid Rebuild Kit Replacement (P/N 6-606R)

WARNING:
The System 83 Plus™ should be powered off when inspecting or replacing components to prevent
electrical shock and damage to the device.
CAUTION: Detergent bottle should be placed on the floor when replacing the detergent valve rebuild to avoid
syphoning.
1. Loosen the screw on the grounded stem clamp enough so that the grounded stem clamp can be removed.
2. Slide the coil off of the valve stem, exposing the stem and the valve body.
3. Unscrew the valve stem from the valve body.
4. Remove and replace the plunger with the new plunger from the rebuild kit in the exact same orientation.
5. Remove and replace the O-Ring seated inside the body of the valve with the new O-Ring from the rebuild
kit. Reassemble the valve.

Hand Spray Solenoid Rebuild Kit Replacement (P/N 6-606R)

WARNING:
The System 83 Plus™ should be powered off when inspecting or replacing components to prevent
electrical shock and damage to the device.
CAUTION: Water feeding the System 83 Plus™ must be turned off when replacing the hand spray valve rebuild
kit.
1. Loosen the screw on the grounded stem clamp enough so that the grounded stem clamp can be removed.
2. Slide the coil off of the valve stem, exposing the stem and the valve body.
3. Place a dry towel under the valve.
4. Before unscrewing the valve stem, hold the brass valve body with channel lock pliers.
5. Unscrew the valve stem from the valve body.
6. Remove and replace the plunger with the new plunger from the rebuild kit in the exact same orientation.
7. Remove and replace the O-Ring seated inside the body of the valve with the new O-Ring from the rebuild
kit. Reassemble the valve.
