Charcoal Filter Replacement (P/N 21017)

WARNING:
The System 83 Plus™ should be powered off when inspecting or replacing components to prevent
electrical shock and damage to the device.
1. Using a filter wrench, loosen the (blue) backpack filter canister.
2. Once the canister is loosened, remove the charcoal filter.
3. Follow removal steps in reverse to properly install new charcoal filter.

Drain/HLD Return Pump Impeller (P/N 11009) and Pump Shaft (P/N 11135) Replacement

WARNING: The System 83 Plus™ should be powered off when inspecting or replacing components to prevent
electrical shock and damage to the device.
NOTE: Assure that no liquids are present in the processing chamber for the drain/HLD return pump prior to
conducting any of the following repairs.
1. Remove the wing nut and mounting bolt, which secures the drain/HLD return pump to the middle deck of the
chassis.
2. With the wing nut and bolt removed, remove the (4) wing nuts on the drain/HLD return pump volute.
3. Once all volute mounting wing nuts are removed, the drain/HLD return pump can be separated away from
the volute.
4. Remove the impeller and white pump shaft and thrust washer.
CAUTION: When removing and installing the shaft and bushings do not force it sideways or drop it as the
parts may become damaged.
5. Replace with a new impeller and white pump shaft and thrust washer.
6. Follow removal steps in reverse for reassembly.
