Flow Probe Replacement (P/N 12002)
WARNING:
The System 83 Plus™ should be powered off when inspecting or replacing components to prevent
electrical shock and damage to the device.
1. The Flow Probe needs to be removed and cleaned to remove buildup.
2. Remove the flow probe, clean and rinse with water.
3. After removal, clean out any remaining PTFE thread sealant tape from the female threaded bushing.
4. Apply PTFE thread sealant tape to the male threads and reinstall using care to not overtighten the probe and
damage the bushing.

Female Adapter Ports Replacement (P/N 18022)
WARNING:
The System 83 Plus™ should be powered off when inspecting or replacing components to prevent
electrical shock and damage to the device.
NOTE:
Standard channel and specialty channel bulkheads and are not interchangeable.
1. Remove the eight (8) Female Adapter Ports (1/8" MPT Female Quick Disconnect Valved Bulkhead) and
discard.
2. Remove remaining PTFE tape debris and clean threads where the female adapter ports were removed.
3. Wrap PTFE tape on the new female adapter ports.
4. Thread the female adapter ports into each of the eight (8) ports of the processing chamber.
5. Install the eight (8) female adapter ports and continue to tighten until there is only 1/8 inch of male threads
showing; ensuring that the metal clip is pointing towards the top of the processing chamber.
