To set the Master/Slave trigger in the Perception software, proceed as follows:

If it is not already active, start Perception.

Make sure that you are connected to the required mainframes. Use the Hardware Navigator
to do this.

Select the Settings sheet.

If it is not already done, switch the Settings sheet layout modes to Advanced mode.

In the Settings sheet, go to the Trigger group in the task pane and select Recorder.
A list of available recorders is displayed in the settings area.

Select the recorder that you want to set.

Double-click on the Master/Slave trigger cell to open it for modification.

In the drop-down list that comes up, select the setting you want to use.
