4.7 Setting up the iPad

The iPad needs to be set up when preparing the product for use for the first time (e.g. select the system language,
set up Apple ID, configure basic settings). The iPad needs to be connected to the supplied router via WLAN for
this purpose. The router must be connected to the Internet. The iPad was configured to automatically connect to
the WLAN of the router at the factory (do not connect to different WLAN!).

Meaning of the sensor LED signals
Meaning
Sensor switched off, completely discharged or in sleep mode
Low battery level of the sensor; no WLAN connection
No WLAN connection - wait until connection is established
WLAN connection is being established
Connected to base station via WLAN
In the "System information" window the button of the sensor has been tapped
Update for sensor is available ("Updating the sensors" section – see page 35)
Update being installed – do not switch off and do not remove from base station!
Error - check user interface error messages
