Safety Modes – Overheating
•
Typically caused by heavy use of the knee joint (e.g.
long downhill walking, biking in basic mode)
•
In basic mode only!
•
Overheating is indicated by a long vibration every 5
seconds
•
Reaction of the C-Leg 4:

Stance flexion resistance increases gradually
• Consequence → User has to walk slowly
•
Reduce activity until the hydraulics have cooled down
