8.3 Upgrading AdvancedCopy Manager Copy Control Module

8.3.1 Preparing for Upgrade

8.3.1.1

Selecting Install Program

There are two methods of performing the upgrade for the AdvancedCopy Manager Copy Control Module, as follows:
-
[Method 1] Install the ETERNUS SF Manager program and use the AdvancedCopy Manager Copy Control Module included with the
ETERNUS SF Manager.
-
[Method 2] Install and use the AdvancedCopy Manager Copy Control Module.
Point
For Method 1, in addition to the command line interface, it is also possible to perform the AdvancedCopy Manager Copy Control Module
operations from Web Console. However, this approach has the following drawbacks:
-
The disk space required for installation is greater than that for Method 2.
-
There are more incompatible software issues when compared to Method 2.
