Important Information on Handling

Maintenance
Users must not attempt to repair the LT160 by themselves. Ask Fujitsu to dispatch one of
its engineers or an engineer authorized by Fujitsu for maintenance work.
Disposal of the LT160 and Packing Materials
If you need to dispose of the LT160, follow the instructions provided by maintenance
personnel.
Expendable Supplies
Use Fujitsu-designated expendable supplies for the LT160. Using other materials may
result in injury to users and bystanders or damage to their property.
Modification or Renovation of the LT160
Do not modify the LT160 or overhaul a used product. Doing so may result in injury to
users and bystanders or damage to their property.
Operating Environment
This product is designed for use in Japan and cannot be used outside Japan. Fujitsu
assumes no responsibility for any consequences resulting from use of the LT160 outside
Japan.
Disposal of Magnetic Tape
Magnetic tape uses chromium dioxide as a magnetic material. When disposing of
magnetic tape, note the following:
If you are uncertain about what to do, call your Fujitsu salesperson.

Treat used magnetic tape as industrial waste.
