Insert the DVD-ROM "ETERNUS SF SC/ACM Mediapack for Solaris (Manager Program) (2/2)" or "ETERNUS SF SC/ACM/Express
Mediapack for Linux 64bit (Manager Program) (2/2)" for this version into the DVD-ROM drive.
Refer to "DVD-ROM Contents" in the ETERNUS SF Installation and Setup Guide for this version for information on the DVD-
ROM structure and detailed contents.

Mount the DVD-ROM.
Example:
# mount /mnt/dvd

Implement backup of the previous version.
Execute the following command. For backupDir, specify the directory in which to store the backup data with an absolute
path.
# /mnt/dvd/Manager_unix/vuptools/esfccmpreinst_cluster.sh backupDir -primary
When the backup fails, after confirming the output error message and removing the cause of the failure, execute the batch
file again.

Spaces and the characters " / ` * ? \ $ [ ] , % ! { } are not supported for directory name.

The number of characters in a directory name must be up to 220.

Change to a directory other than the DVD-ROM.

Unmount the DVD-ROM.

Eject the DVD-ROM.

Checking for available disk space
Ensure that there is enough available disk space on the server where the upgrade is performed.
The required disk space for the upgrade is calculated as the "Required Disk Space for New Version" minus the "Required Disk Space
for Previous Version".

The space required to install this version of the ETERNUS SF Manager or AdvancedCopy Manager Copy Control Module. Refer
to the following locations in the ETERNUS SF Installation and Setup Guide for this version for information on the required disk
space.
