Oil Clutch Reassembly
CAUTION
Make certain all parts have been thoroughly
cleaned prior to reassembly. Dirt particles
will seriously affect operation of the
winch.
NOTE: Reassembly is essentially the same for both
the forward and reverse clutches.
1. Install two new O-rings in piston housing. Lubricate
piston cavity with O-ring lube.
NOTE: It may be necessary to stretch the large O-ring
so that it will stay in its groove during installation of
the piston.
2. Carefully install the piston in the housing.

3. Install the spring retainer so holes are properly
sequenced.
4. Install new O-ring on the hub. Lubricate with O-ring
lube.
