Jump start using the boost lugs

WARNING
Explosion hazard
Incorrectly connected jumper cables can lead to explosions and cause injuries.
Keep away from fire, naked flames and sparks, and do not smoke.
The ends of jumper cables must never touch.

When the winch is installed on the vehicle, use the boost lug (2) to access the positive pole of the bat-
teries. Use the pole of the exposed battery under the black cap (1) to access the negative terminal.

Checking the coolant level

Replacing the coolant

WARNING
Risk of scalding
The cooling system is pressurized. Hot coolant can spray out and scald skin and eyes when the cool-
ing system is opened.
Only open the cooling system when the coolant temperature is below 40 °C (104 °F).
Slowly unscrew the housing cover and completely release the pressure before opening.
Wear suitable protective gloves, clothing and safety glasses when handling coolants.
Do not add cold coolant to a hot cooling system (when the engine is still warm).
