If a calibration error occurs, note the Error Code Number displayed on the touch screen and refer to the
Troubleshooting section (Section 9) for more information. If you are in the middle of a run, you can choose to
continue the purification procedure or abandon the run. Continuing the run will not damage the Maxwell
Forensic Instrument but may result in suboptimal recovery of nucleic acid from the samples. To cancel the run, press
the Run/Stop button on the instrument keypad to stop the run, and follow the on-screen instructions.
At the end of the run, the touch screen will display a message that the method has ended. The export of run data occurs
before samples are removed from the instrument (see Section 6).
