Confirm that you are using media from the approved media list. For information about
the approved media list, see "Xerox Supplies" on page 9-16.

Confirm that the paper guides are set correctly.

Make sure the printer is correctly reading the type of tray installed and that the tray is
correctly set for the media loaded in it. Printing on paper in transparency mode or
another print quality mode significantly darkens a print. Try a different color correction
setting. Make sure the front panel menu selection matches the paper in the tray.

Make sure the paper type selected on the front panel matches the paper in the printer.

Try a different print mode.

If some improvement is seen, the ink may be discolored due to a long time without
use. If the problem occurs in one color, purge up to 10 additional times to clear the ink.
