Definition
The preheat heater became too hot.
1.
Check the ambient temperature of the room.
2.
If it is too hot, cool the room down.
3.
Run the Preheater Heater test.
4.
Replace the Electronics Module.
The preheat heater took too long to reach its setpoint.
1.
Check the ambient temperature of the room.
2.
If it is too cool, heat the room up.
3.
Run the Preheater Temp test.
4.
Replace the Electronics Module.
The preheat thermistor circuit is open.
1.
Run the Preheater Temp test.
2.
Replace the I/O Board, retest.
3.
Replace the Electronics Module.
The preheat thermistor circuit is shorted.
1.
Run the Preheater Temp test.
2.
Replace the I/O Board, retest.
3.
Replace the Electronics Module.
The preheat thermistor is bad.
1.
Run the Preheater Temp test.
2.
Replace the I/O Board, retest.
3.
Replace the Electronics Module.
The left jetstack heater became too hot.
1.
Verify the ambient temperature of the room is not too
high.
2.
If the temperature of the environment is too hot advise
the customer of the environmental specifications.
3.
Run the Printhead Jetstack Temperature test if the
room temperature is within the correct operating
range.
4.
Replace the printhead.
