1. Carefully pivot the snowblower up and
forward so that it rests on the auger
housing. Place a piece of cardboard
or moving blanket on the ground
before tipping forward. Make sure all
fluids are removed and spark plug is
disconnected.
2. Remove the base frame cover (1) from
the underside of the snowblower by
removing the six M6 × 16 screws which
secures it.
4. Unhook the spring from the drive plate
hole (1).
5. Squeeze and remove the strain relief
from the machine side (2).

3. Locate the self-drive cable.
