Since the connectors in the interface harness are wired to consecutive test points, user notations
can be assigned using block edit commands. For a description of block commands, refer to the
Block Assign Mode in the Advanced Programming Features section.
1. If an RU is displayed in the left column, press ESC. A U should be displayed in the left
column.
2. If necessary, move the cursor to line or point number 11.
3. Press the letter B to select the block mode and press ENTER.
4. Type the number 1 for the "POINT # INC ?" prompt, and press ENTER.
5. Type P2-1 for the beginning user label, and press ENTER for the START ? prompt
6. Type P2-5 for the ending user label, and press ENTER for the STOP ? prompt .
7. To assign consecutive labels P2-1 through P2-5, type 1, and press ENTER for the
USER INC ? prompt.

8. Press Down arrow to move the cursor to point number 16.
9. Press the letter B to select the block mode again and press ENTER.
10. Type 1 for the "POINT # INC ?" prompt, and press ENTER.
11. Type P3-1 for the beginning user label, and press ENTER for the START ? prompt
12. Type P3-5 for the ending user label, and press ENTER for the STOP ? prompt .
13. To assign consecutive labels P3-1 through P3-5, type 1, and press ENTER for the
USER INC ? prompt.
The user notations for points 1 through 20 should now be entered. The last two points to be
assigned are for E1 and E2.
14. Press Down arrow to move cursor to point number 21.
15. Select the replace mode by typing the letter R and pressing ENTER.
16. Type E1 to assign it to point 21, and press ENTER.
17. Type E2 to assign it to point 22, and press ENTER.
