Remove a cooling fan

☐ 8 Install the air shroud.
☐ 9 Install the bezel.
☐ 10 Replace the system cover.
☐ 11 Slide the system into the cabinet.
The cooling fans are hot swappable. To maintain proper cooling while the server is on,
replace only one fan at a time.
Before you begin
Follow all safety guidelines.
CAUTION
Opening or removing the system cover when the server is on may expose you to a
risk of electric shock. Exercise utmost care while removing or installing cooling
fans.
Procedure
1. Press the release tab and lift the cooling fan out of the cooling fan assembly.
