3.6 STEERING AXLE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

The Pronar T400 trailer is, as a standard, equipped with a rear steering axle, passively
steered - figure (3.6). The axle design enables easy and undisturbed cornering especially on
marshy terrain, which reduces machine tire wear.
When driving backwards, the axle reaction rods must be blocked, otherwise the trailer will
tend to turn uncontrollably to the left or right when reversing.
The axle can be locked by a single-line hydraulic system as shown in figure (3.6). before
driving backwards, extend the steering cylinders with the tractor distributor lever.
