Checking the clearance of the axle bearings:
If clearance is palpable, adjust the bearings. Unnatural sounds coming from the bearing may
be symptoms of excessive wear, dirt or damage. In this case, the bearing, together with the
sealing rings, must be replaced or cleaned and regreased. When checking bearings, make
sure that any noticeable clearance comes from the bearings and not from the suspension
system (e.g. looseness on the spring pins, etc.).
• after covering the first 1,000 km,
• during intensive use of the trailer at least every 10,000km,
• every six months of use or every 25,000 km.
