If the chain tensioning force is insufficient and adjustment by means of a screw is no longer
possible, the chain should be shortened by two links so that the chain can be closed again
with the closing link (6).
Chain tension adjustment
Stop the vehicle, then switch off tractor engine, immobilize the trailer with
parking brake. Place chocks under the rigid axle wheel,
