3.2.4.4 GPS Position Update
To conduct the GPS Position Update test, press
the small knob to display the present position.
If the displayed position is more than 1000 miles from the actual position, press
acquired sufficient satellites for a position solution, the screen will display the following:
Use the small and large knobs to enter the airport or use the large knob to position the cursor in the Lat/Lon
field then enter the coordinates. Press
3.2.4.5 GPS Antenna Performance
To check the GPS antenna performance, press
the small, inner selector knob until the display below is shown.
Rotate the large, outer selector knob until the display below is shown.
Verify that the GPS antenna current is at least 21 mA, not to exceed 115 mA, and the voltage is at least 4 V.
Note:
The GPS antenna current and voltage value may differ depending on the antenna used.

The Configuration Record Sheet, on page 3-17, is to be completed by the installation agency and remain
in this Install Manual. The Configuration Record Sheet, on page 3-19, is to be completed by the installation
agency and attached to the Pilot Guide or the Flight Manual Supplement.
Approach Plus is replaced or reset, the Configuration Record Sheet will be needed to restore the
configuration.
