3.2.2.6 Set Advisory Messages
Most message displays can be configured to one of the following settings:
Off
Disables display of the message
On
Enables display of the message when appropriate, but keeps messages in the queue until selected by
the user for display
Pop-Up Enables display of the message automatically when appropriate. The message may require pilot
acknowledgment to remove the message by pressing the MSG key, or it may be an auto Pop-up/Pop-
down message as indicated below.
Most messages will function according to the chosen settings for all phases of flight, except as noted in
Table 3-5 for Approaches. These user-selectable parameters will affect the timing for various message types.
Access the Installation Setup and follow these steps to change the configuration of the advisory messages:
1.
Rotate the small, inner selector knob to display

Rotate the large, outer knob to sequence through each of the Advisory messages categories listed in
Tables 3-5 and 3-6.

At each category, press
