Notes:
1.
Should be configured for RS-422 communications.
2.
The recommended connection is to use a FreeFlight P/N 12480-
00 RS-422/232 adapter. However, a direct connection will work in
most installations. See Appendix B for further details on the serial
data interface.
3.
Power and ground connections are shown only for FreeFlight
products and adapters.
4.
Most encoders require approximately 10 minutes to warm-up.
The data output before this period has expired may be in error
and should not be used. Refer to the appropriate equipment's
manual for more specific information.
5.
Serializer connects to the aircraft's existing Mode C encoder and
provides the FreeFlight GPS receiver with serial altitude
information. A serializer is required for blind encoders and
devices with Gray Code outputs.
6.
Do not use heading input from the ADC-200 when interfacing
synchro inputs.
