TAPE followed by VERIFY COMPLETE.

Format Drive 0

Before a new disk can be used to save data, it must be initialized (formatted) using this
function.
1. Insert a new or unused diskette in the internal 3.5-inch drive. All data currently on the
diskette will be erased.
2. Rotate ENABLE keyswitch to vertical position (enabled position).
3. Select and initiate sub-menu mode by pressing the up or down arrow until SUB-MENU
is displayed and press MENU RUN.
4. Press arrow key to display FORMAT DRIVE 0, and press MENU RUN. ARE YOU
SURE? message will display.
5. Press MENU RUN a second time to initiate format function.

Format Drive 1

This function is used to format a diskette if the Model 4000C has an external disk drive
connector and an external disk drive is connected,. The operation of this function is identical
to the Format Drive 0 described above.

Default System Settings

This function is used to default the Tester setup parameters to preprogrammed values. An
ARE YOU SURE? message is displayed after this function is initiated with the MENU RUN
key. Pressing the MENU RUN key again (yes) will default the parameters to the values
below.
