WIRE LIST PROGRAMMING

When the wire harness documentation and the fixture wiring information are available, the Wire
List can be programmed. In most cases it is best to begin by entering the User Notation Table.
A label assigned in the User Notation Table must match exactly with the corresponding label
used in the Wire List. The Model 4000C will display "not found" if a label is entered as the
From or To point in the wire list and is not assigned to a point number in the User Notation
Table.
The Model 4000C provides room for 8 character labels. If your labels are over 8 characters, plan
to abbreviate them before you begin programming. Also, shorter labels are easier for the
operator to read.
