termination points to assembly. Body conductance can be used in selecting the proper
wire from a bundle; when the proper wire has been located, the operator is alerted.

Search Mode

The Search mode is used in identifying wires when a wire list program is not available.
Using body conductance, the operator touches the wire ends and the display indicates each
wire touched.

Remote

When the optional CRT/Terminal or PC with software is added to the system, remote mode is
used for switching system control from the Control Head to the Terminal Port.

Record Mode

When a "learned" program residing in the Dynamic Memory must be displaced by another
program, it may be stored for future use.

Record on Diskette

Continuity data for several programs may be grouped on each floppy diskette.

Record on Tape

The record and load from tape are modes retained from earlier systems and are maintained
for compatibility purposes. This enables a Control Head from an EHT-4000B to be used
on the Model 4000C to load tapes and then saved to floppy.

Print Mode

When the optional printer is added to the system, it may be used for printing wire lists and
error lists from the Control Head.

Wire List

When Print Wire List is selected the continuity program residing in memory is printed out.
The list will be composed of all FROM and TO point numbers, listed by sequence number.
The sequence number is the assembly sequence for the Sequential Build mode.

Error List

When Print Error List is selected, a test initialized and all detected errors (opens and
shorts) are printed.
