Loop Test

Executing LOOP TEST will initiate continuous scanning through the connected assembly.
This test is used for locating intermittent connection problems. When an error is encountered,
the test is halted and the error is displayed. Pressing MENU RUN will restart the test. To
select and use LOOP TEST, proceed as follows:
1. Load program to be used in this test (refer to "Load Program").
2. Install harness to be tested.
3. Press Up or Down arrow to step through the menu until LOOP TEST is displayed.
4. Press MENU RUN to initiate the LOOP TEST mode. Each time a successful scan is
completed, a loop count on the display will increment by one. If an error is located, the
test stops and the error is displayed.
5. To restart the test, press MENU RUN, and the loop count will reset to zero.

Shorts Test

This test is used to test an assembly for shorts. If the test is successful, PASSED is displayed.
If a short is encountered, testing is halted and S and the From/To points are displayed.
Pressing MENU RUN will bypass the error and testing continues; FAILED will be displayed
at the end of test.

Opens Test

This mode tests an assembly for opens only. If the test is successful, PASSED is displayed.
If an open is encountered, testing is halted and "O" and the FROM/TO points are displayed.
If the open circuit is corrected a tone sounds and testing continues. Pressing MENU RUN
bypasses the error and testing continues; FAILED will be displayed at the end of test.
