System Upgrade
IMPORTANT:
StoragePathSavior is required to connect NEC Storage using N8803-031F.
PortDuplexManager is required to connect FC DISK ARRAY (N8190-110F) using
N8803-031F.
Insert Fibre Channel Controllers after the installation of OS is completed. Use
Fibre Channel Controllers in pairs. Insert a Fibre Channel Controller into a slot in
a PCI module and another Fibre Channel Controller into the slot at the same
location in another PCI module.
How to confirm the status:
Use StoragePathSavior (when NEC Storage is connected) or PortDuplexManager (when
N8190-110F is connected) to check Fibre Channel Controller statuses, instead of viewing
PCI board statuses.
