Trusted Platform Module

The COMX-CORE-2610-ET board supports an Atmel TPM1.2 chip on board. The Atmel
AT97SC3204-U1A190-1 Trusted Platform Module (TPM) provides computer
manufacturers with the core components of a subsystem that is used to assure authenticity,
integrity, and confidentiality in e-commerce transactions and Internet communications

SPI Flash

The COMX-CORE-2610-ET board provides a 16MB SPI BIOS ROM. Because the SPI bus
is also routed to COM Express connector, so there is SPI BIOS ROM on the carrier board.
The BIOS_DISABLE# signal from carrier board can be used to configure the boot BIOS
ROM. The carrier board typically provides jumper selections (or equivalent) to choose the
BIOS boot device. Refer to the COMX-CAR-612 COM Express Carrier Board Installation
and Use guide, for more information.
